Terms and conditions

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms and conditions apply to sales contracts concluded through the ZOI Matcha online shop. Their provisions do not exclude or limit the consumer’s rights under mandatory provisions of law.

1. General provisions

These terms and conditions set out the rules for using the ZOI Matcha online shop and placing orders, and the rights and obligations of the parties to a sales contract concluded at a distance.

  • Seller: Global Trade Group sp. z o.o.
  • Registered office: Al. Jerozolimskie 133/2, 02-304 Warszawa, Poland
  • VAT: PL5342677352 | KRS: 0001096244 | REGON: 528171483
  • Contact: info@zoimatcha.com, tel. +48 516 126 213
  • These terms and conditions are made available free of charge before the contract is concluded

2. Rules for placing orders

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the shop’s website. The sales contract is concluded once the seller has confirmed acceptance of the order.

  • Prices are shown in the currency displayed in the shop — in euros (EUR) for delivery outside Poland — and include taxes, unless expressly stated otherwise
  • The customer chooses the delivery and payment methods when placing the order
  • Clicking the button that finalises the order entails an obligation to pay

3. Payment and delivery

The available payment and delivery methods are presented at the basket and checkout stages. The seller fulfils the order within the time stated on the product page and in the order summary.

  • Delivery costs are stated before the order is placed
  • In the event of a delay, the customer has the rights arising under the Polish Civil Code and the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014
  • The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when the goods are delivered to the consumer

4. Withdrawal from the contract (returns)

A consumer who has concluded a distance contract may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • The 14-day withdrawal period runs, as a rule, from the moment the consumer takes possession of the goods
  • To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement of withdrawal before the deadline expires
  • The consumer sends the goods back no later than 14 days from the day of withdrawal
  • The seller refunds the payments without undue delay, no later than 14 days after receiving the statement of withdrawal
  • The seller may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or proof that they have been sent back
  • As a rule, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the offer provides otherwise

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply only in the cases provided for by law (including Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).

5. Food products (matcha tea)

Matcha is a foodstuff packed in protective packaging. The rules for returns differ depending on whether the packaging has been opened.

  • We accept returns of tea in intact, sealed packaging under the general rules (14 days)
  • Opened food packaging is covered by the statutory exclusion from the right of withdrawal for reasons of health protection and hygiene (Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act)
  • This exclusion does not apply to accessories (chasen, chashaku, ceramics) — these can be returned under the general rules
  • Irrespective of the above, a complaint about a lack of conformity of the goods with the contract may always be made, including for opened packaging

6. Complaints (lack of conformity of the goods with the contract)

Irrespective of the right of withdrawal, the consumer has the right to make a complaint about a lack of conformity of the goods with the contract.

  • The seller’s liability lasts, as a rule, for 2 years from delivery of the goods
  • The consumer may demand repair or replacement and, in the cases provided for by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract
  • A complaint can be made: (a) by email to info@zoimatcha.com, (b) by phone on +48 516 126 213, (c) in writing to: Global Trade Group sp. z o.o., Al. Jerozolimskie 133/2, 02-304 Warszawa
  • In the complaint, please state: a description of the lack of conformity, the order number, the date of purchase and the preferred way of resolving it (repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract)
  • We consider complaints within 14 days of the date they are received. We communicate the outcome of the complaint by email or by phone
  • Failure to respond within 14 days amounts to acceptance of the complaint
  • The complaint costs provided for by law are borne by the seller

7. Personal data and newsletter

The rules for processing personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy. Marketing communications are carried out on the basis of consent or another appropriate legal basis.

8. Out-of-court dispute resolution

The consumer may use out-of-court methods of resolving disputes and pursuing claims, including the assistance of municipal and district consumer ombudsmen in Poland and of the competent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entities.

9. Changes to the terms and conditions

These terms and conditions may be updated for important legal or organisational reasons. Orders placed before a change are governed by the terms and conditions in force on the day the order was placed.
