Bamboo set with ceremonial matcha, 50 g

The easiest way to find out if matcha is for you — without spending a lot on a full set that you’re not even sure you’ll use.

You get the tea and two essential tools. To start with, you can use a wide bowl from your own cupboard instead of a traditional matcha bowl; it’s important that it has a flat base and enough room to move the whisk around.

Included in the set

• ZOI ceremonial matcha, 50 g — approx. 25 cups, intense colour and mild sweetness
• Chasen — bamboo whisk
• Chashaku — bamboo spoon

Here’s how to start: two scoops of matcha, 70 ml of water at 70–80 °C, whisk for twenty seconds in a ‘W’ shape. Do not pour boiling water over it — this is the only mistake that will make the matcha bitter, and there’s no going back once that happens.
